Introduction
There are two game modes, seven maps, and two playable factions in this game.
Playable Charactersβ
- Predator (or Yautja in their own language) β approximately 1,300 HP
- Fireteam member (elite human soldier) β approximately 150 HP
Game Modesβ
Huntβ
1 Predator vs. 4 Fireteam members. You can choose which side you want to play, or let the game decide for you. Note that the random chance of being placed as the Predator is roughly 1-in-10 or lower.
Lobbyβ
- You can select from your predefined character loadouts in the lobby.
- Fireteam slots are initially filled with bots and should gradually fill with real players.
- If a player leaves the lobby, their slot may be filled by someone else from the queue.
- The game waits up to 2 minutes for the lobby to fill.
- Occasionally, lobbies may be bugged and fail to start correctly.
Gameβ
- Match duration is limited to 15 minutes.
- Friendly fire is disabled in public matches, except for explosive damage.
- The Predator spawns 5 seconds before the Fireteam, usually at the opposite edge of the map.
- The Fireteam receives various objectives across the map, directed by a commander called "Zeus" over the radio.
- The Predator must locate and eliminate the Fireteam before time runs out.
- NPCs shoot at both the Fireteam and the Predator, but damage dealt to the Predator is negligible.
- Fireteam members can heal using a syrette (fast, usable mid-combat) or a medkit (slow).
- Fireteam members can be downed by NPCs, the Predator, or explosives.
- A downed player can be revived by another Fireteam member (real player or bot), or by using the Self-Revive perk.
- Downed players bleed out and die after roughly one minute if not revived.
- A downed player can be claimed (executed) by the Predator.
- The Predator can heal using a syrette or by eating a boar.
- The Fireteam (or, rarely, NPCs) can Second Wind the Predator.
- A Second-Winded Predator cannot fight back and must flee to heal.
- After recovering from Second Wind, roughly half of the Predator's health is restored; additional healing is recommended.
- If the Predator kills at least one Fireteam member, the remaining team is given a second chance at the 10-minute mark.
- A Reinforcement Radio appears at one of several random locations; surviving Fireteam members can use it to revive their fallen teammates.
- If the Predator kills the last Fireteam member while the team is waiting for reinforcements, the revived players will not return and the Predator wins.
- If the Predator fails to eliminate all Fireteam members before the last mission is completed, the game designates an exfil point.
- Fireteam members must reach the exfil point and wait for a helicopter to extract them.
- NPCs spawn at the exfil point and can hinder both factions.
- Fireteam members can clip onto the helicopter's rope and escape. A full-health player usually cannot be killed by the Predator before the extraction completes.
Win Conditionsβ
Fireteam wins if:
- They kill the Predator.
- They defuse the self-destruct, or
- at least one Fireteam member escapes the blast radius, or
- the Predator never activates self-destruct at all.
- At least one Fireteam member exfils into the helicopter (even if the blast radius covers the exfil point, a player already on the helicopter is safe).
- The match timer expires and the Predator has not killed a single Fireteam member.
Predator wins if:
- All Fireteam members are eliminated.
- The match timer expires (regardless of how many Fireteam members are still alive).
Clashβ
Capture the Flag β two teams of 4 players each compete to collect points. The match begins with all players as Fireteam members; once a team accumulates enough points, one member is offered the chance to become the Predator.
Lobbyβ
- Teams are shown as red and blue, but the colors are relative to your perspective β your team is always blue and the enemy team is always red.
- You can change your Fireteam loadout in the lobby. Keep in mind that some perks are useless or have limited effectiveness in Clash.
Gameβ
- The match ends when one team reaches 500 points.
- Friendly fire is disabled in public matches, except for explosive damage.
- Players respawn after being killed. There is no Second Wind for the Predator and no Reinforcement Radio.
- When a team accumulates enough points, the team member with the most points is offered the chance to become the Predator. The offer can be accepted or passed to another teammate.
- Both teams can field one Predator simultaneously. After a Predator is killed, the team must earn the same number of points again to unlock the next Predator offer.
